I served in the Navy for four years as a hospital corpsman and now I work for ABC Supply Interiors. Bootcamp was the toughest part, then your schooling. When you actually get into the meat of it, that’s the enjoyable part of it. And I liked what I did. After serving, I moved to Florida.
Somebody told me about this sales position and I was like, “Oh, I don’t think I’m going to be very good at sales, I don’t know.” I tried it and decided I kind of liked working in sales. That company was bought out, so I applied for a position at All Interior Supply, and that’s where my career began with ABC Supply Interiors.
You’re doing something different every day. You might be coming to the same office, but you’re really not doing the same thing. And the camaraderie and values that ABC Supply Interiors has are a lot like what you learn through service.
