I served in the Navy for four years as a hospital corpsman and now I work for L&W Supply. Bootcamp was the toughest part, then your schooling. When you actually get into the meat of it, that’s the enjoyable part of it. And I liked what I did. After serving, I moved to Florida.
Somebody told me about this sales position and I was like, “Oh, I don’t think I’m going to be very good at sales, I don’t know.” I tried it and decided I kind of liked working in sales. That company was bought out, so I applied for a position at All Interior Supply, and that’s where my career began with L&W.
You’re doing something different every day. You might be coming to the same office, but you’re really not doing the same thing. And the camaraderie and values that L&W has are a lot like what you learn through service.
