Manager Candidate in Training

As a manager candidate in training, you’ll get a comprehensive look at what it takes to be a branch manager and get on the fast track to becoming one. Hands-on experience is balanced with case studies, lectures and speakers.

Program qualifications:

  • College degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Strong leadership ability
  • Willingness to relocate
  • Excellent communication skills

Warehouse Material Handler

Being a warehouse material handler means you will always be active, pulling and loading orders and making sure the warehouse is in top condition to handle all incoming and outgoing products.

Duties may include:

  • Receiving incoming building materials and placing them into inventory
  • Organizing and maintaining the warehouse to best utilize available storage space
  • Pulling materials from inventory and staging them for pickups and deliveries
  • Operating forklifts in a safe and responsible manner

CDL Delivery Driver

There’s no better way to further your career as a licensed CDL driver than with a company that’s been doing hard work the right way for decades. L&W Supply gives you the chance to do your driving during the day and head home each night.

Duties may include:

  • Operating a number of different vehicles within our fleet to and from delivery sites
  • Prioritizing safety by adhering to all DOT and company protocols
  • Accurately filling out all necessary paperwork, logs and daily vehicle inspections
  • Making sure vehicles are loaded correctly
  • Helping load and unload materials

Inside Sales

Our inside sales associates are a crucial part of a branch’s success, providing the right products to customers who need them for their projects. With their engaging personality, dedication to service and building product expertise, inside sales associates build lasting customer relationships.

Duties may include:

  • Determining customer needs and recommending appropriate products and solutions
  • Discussing features and benefits of our products and services
  • Taking customer orders and entering the information into our system
  • Answering incoming phone calls and emails to assist customers in a timely manner

Outside Sales

Talent and enthusiasm go a long way for our outside sales professionals. Here, you grow relationships with our current and prospective customers, all while promoting quality products and delivering quality service.

Duties may include:

  • Cultivating and managing customer relationships
  • Creating and pursuing customer leads
  • Providing training to customers and their teams on various product lines and services
  • Identifying and executing opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell products
  • Working with branch staff to generate customer quotes

Delivery Service Manager

Our delivery service managers are success-driven individuals always looking to bring the team to the next level. In this role, you’ll coordinate operations with safety, efficiency and quality in mind.

Duties may include:

  • Coordinating deliveries with sales team and customers, ensuring the highest level of satisfaction
  • Managing cost of delivery, labor expenses, equipment and supplies
  • Working with warehouse personnel to ensure timely deliveries
  • Assessing jobsite delivery requirements and assigning appropriate delivery vehicles
  • Monitoring and directing performance of all delivery associates

Helper/Stocker

As a helper/stocker, you make sure all orders get from the warehouse to the jobsite, handling the materials with care and accuracy along the way and ensuring a positive delivery experience for the customer.

Duties may include:

  • Distributing and placing materials on the jobsite to customer specifications
  • Double-checking all materials being delivered to the jobsite to ensure accuracy
  • Cleaning up debris created by the delivery process and properly disposing of it
  • Operating a forklift safely and being able to handle heavy loads
